Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter is backing a proposed fan boycott of World Cup matches in the United States because of the conduct of President Trump and his administration at home and abroad.

The process will begin in late May in compliance with FIFA regulations banning corporate logos in and around host stadiums.

FIFA unveiled the Match Schedule for the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Sunday afternoon and Atlanta has been selected to host eight matches — including five group stage matches, a round of 32 match, a round of 16 match, and a semifinal match.

The U.S., Canada and Mexico will host the first-ever 48-team World Cup. Sixty of the matches will be played at stadiums across the U.S.
