Drama, tears and one huge announcement.

It all went down on Monday's The Bachelor "The Women Tell All” episode.

Zach Shallcross faced all the women he’s dumped thus far on Season 27 of The Bachelor and the tea was piping hot.

But the most dramatic news of the night was the announcement of the new lead of The Bachelorette.

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for in the Peach State: Charity Lawson, who was eliminated from The Bachelor Monday night, was announced as the lead of the next season of The Bachelorette on ABC.

But Zach’s loss is America’s gain.

“I’m the next Bachelorette,” Charity told the cameras. “I’m truly so happy.”

If you haven’t been watching this season of The Bachelor, here are some things you need to know about Charity:

  • Charity is originally from Columbus.
  • She attended Columbus and High and graduated from Auburn University where she received a Master’s Degree in clinical mental health counseling.
  • She works as a child and family therapist and specializes in trauma, childhood disorders, anxiety and family issues.

Bachelor Nation fans have shared their excitement on social media. Many critics have called Zach’s final four women one of the strongest in the show’s history.

“This is now a Charity Lawson stan account,” social media influencer The Bitchelorette said on Instagram. “She is the moment.”

The first thing Charity did when she learned she was chosen as the next “Bachelorette?” She called her mom.
