Georgia continues to set records for new COVID-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant. But, admissions into intensive care units have so far not followed suit. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are planning to visit Georgia next week, where they will deliver speeches urging Congress to pass federal voting laws. A memorial service will be held for the late U.S. Senator Johnny Isaacson in his home city of Atlanta.
