In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, Chair Emeritus of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses a compound called “EnnA”, which is isolated from a fungus growing on the roots of a flowering plant in Morocco. It is showing signs of being a powerful new weapon in the battle against aggressive, triple negative breast cancer.
