No. 12 Georgia's game at Missouri is the latest of the Southeastern Conference games to be postponed this week due to COVID-19. SEC officials said the game was postponed “due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Missouri football program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements.”

Earlier this week, No. 24 Auburn at Mississippi State; No. 1 Alabama at LSU; and No. 5 Texas A&M at Tennessee were all forced to reschedule.

The Big Ten Conference match-up between No. 3 Ohio State and Maryland has also been postponed due to an outbreak at the College Park campus. In all, eight games across major college football have been called off this week.

Overall, 55 games involving FBS teams have been canceled or postponed since late August.
