President Donald Trump is set to visit the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday as he tries to calm growing fears about the coronavirus outbreak, a senior White House official told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

While no cases of the new coronavirus first discovered in China have been confirmed in Georgia, officials are monitoring the situation and about 200 people in the state are in self-quarantine, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
