On this edition of Political Rewind, immigration takes center stage in Washington this week.  Outrage over the Department of Justice policy of separating children from parents at the border is growing and it’s spreading across partisan lines. 

This as Republican lawmakers prepare to bring to the floor two immigration bills that could provide protection for DACA recipients.  Then, a sea of change in the Southern Baptist Convention.  Under new leadership, the organization signals it’s ready to change its regressive policies towards women and could be moving away from a longstanding alliance with the Republican Party.
