Controversial Immigration Program May Expand In Georgia
In the wake of this week’s terror attack in New York, President Trump wants to kill the Diversity Visa Lottery, a program that issues about 50,000 visas a year to countries with low immigration rates to the U.S. The president also wants local law enforcement agencies to crack down more on illegal immigration under a program called 287(g). This program has been on the books in four Georgia counties for several years. As "On Second Thought" producer Sean Powers reports, that program may be expanding in the state.
