Visit Savannah’s Lauren Cleland offers up some ways to have fun in Savannah this weekend.

Lauren’s picks:

-Trinity United Methodist Church brings back its sanctuary concert series Thursday with Bradford Folk and the Bluegrass Playboys. Members of the group Uncommon Collective and other special guests will join them performing in this historic space. Thursday, 7:30 p.m.; $10.

-The Savannah Jazz Festival continues through Saturday with performances every night. Musicians include Eric Colberson, Jody Espina Quartet and the United States Marine Corps band. Full schedule here.

-Celebrate the birthday of Savannah’s own Sweet Tease burlesque troupe with their second anniversary showcase Friday at the Jinx. The show will feature the encore performances from the second season of Sweet Tease, as chosen by the group’s loyal fans. Friday, 10 p.m.; $10.

-Learn about life on the high seas with a visit to the tall ship El Galeon San Pelayo, docked at River Street through Oct. 4. Modeled after the ships that sailed the world during the height of the Spanish colonial era, this ship will help you travel back in time and learn more about the era. Through Oct. 1, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Oct. 2-4, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; $10 adults, $5 children.

-After years of fundraising and restoration, the Tybee Post Theater is finally ready to open its doors - with two events to celebrate this weekend. First, the Grand Reopening will include a ribbon cutting, complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment. Then it’s Tybee’s Got Talent, where you can see the best local talents on stage - or even compete yourself. Reopening Saturday, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.; free. Talent show Sunday, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.; $10.
