Insurance Software Company Expanding In Atlanta

The expansion of a software company in Atlanta is expected to create 150 new jobs.
Gov. Nathan Deal said in a statement Thursday that Applied Systems is planning to expand in the city's Buckhead neighborhood.
Deal says the company has signed a lease to occupy more than 20,800 square feet in Buckhead Tower at Lenox Square.
Applied Systems provides software that insurance companies use to manage policies and claims. The company employs more than 1,200 people and is based in University Park, Illinois.
