The Love/Dream Project began at The Sentient Bean in Savannah.

This week GPB asked Savannah residents to respond to Emergent Savannah's Love/Dream Project.

The project asks residents what they love most about Savannah and what they dream for the city.

GPB Savannah interns Chadd Jones and Robert Tucker spoke with visitors at The Sentient Bean in Savannah to obtain responses to the project in Love/Dream Part 1.

In Part 2, Savannah residents discussed more things they love about their city and what they dream for it.

Jamal Barrow explained what he loves about Savannah. "It has made efforts to modernize, but at the same time maintain its historical charm," he said.

As far as dreams for the city Barrow added, "I dream that Savannah will continue its forward progress."

Sierra Loften offered suggestions for Savannah's progress. " I think that there could be more community involvement in our schools and more transparency with our board and our local government," she said.
