On Friday, former Savannah-Chatham Police Chief Willie Lovett was sentenced to 90 months - more than 7 years - in prison and fined $50,000. Lovett was convicted last year on gambling and conspiracy charges for helping protect an illegal gambling ring. GPB Savannah's Emily Jones spoke with South University criminal justice instructor Tom Cannon for his take on the sentence and what it will mean for current Police Chief Jack Lumpkin.
