GIF Festival Brings Web Animation To Jepson’s PULSE

This year’s PULSE Art + Technology Festival at the Jepson Center features an unusual exhibit: a show of animated GIFs. Curator Harry DeLorme spoke with GPB’s Emiliy Jones about how one of the internet’s favorite forms of expression is breaking into the art world. PULSE runs through Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Jepson. ArtRise Savannah is also presenting a GIF Festival with music from local artists, Saturday at 6 p.m.
