Heather Henley of Do Savannah and Sara Lane of Visit Tybee recommend some fun events for Labor Day weekend in Savannah and along the coast.

Heather’s picks:

-Check out unique fashions inspired by nature at Midsummer Night’s Sueno runway show Friday in Forsyth Park. It’s followed by an afterparty at Ampersand, featuring live music and signature cocktails. Friday, 7:30-10 p.m.; $10 in advance, $15 at the park or $10 with clothing donation

-Keep your kids healthy with fun exercise and free health screenings at the Healthy Kids First & Kids Luv Your Heart Walk on Saturday in Forsyth Park. Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; free

-Sample the offerings of craft breweries both local and far-flung and learn about the art of brewing at the Savannah Craft Beer Festival at the convention center. But act fast - tickets are selling out quickly. Area pubs and breweries will also be celebrating craft beer week through Sunday. Saturday, 1-5 p.m.; $40-60, $15-25 for designated drivers not sampling beer

Sara’s picks:

-Kick off the holiday weekend on Tybee with a concert and album launch party by Big Engine at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion. Saturday, 7 p.m.

-End the summer with a bang with more live music, plus a fireworks display on the beach. The Swingin’ Medallions will play the Pier and Pavilion Sunday, followed by fireworks you can watch from the pier, the beach, or anywhere on the island. Sunday, 7:30 p.m. concert with fireworks at dark, approximately 9:15 p.m.
