Attorneys for the death row inmate Warren Lee Hill have until the end of the day Monday to respond to the latest appeal in his case.

Lawyers for the state Attorney General’s Office appealed to the Georgia Supreme Court after a lower court judge issued Hill an indefinite stay of execution last month.

The Supreme Court must decide whether to vacate that stay or let it stand and allow the case to play out in Superior Court. The issue at hand is whether Georgia should be allowed to keep the source of lethal injection drugs secret.
