Juvenile justice officials say they're stepping up security after an inmate at a juvenile detention center in Augusta was injured during a fight and hospitalized.

Authorities say the fight happened around 6:55 p.m. Sunday. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is probing the incident at the Augusta Youth Development Campus.

Officials say the fight was between two male inmates and no other youth were involved. Details on the teen's injuries weren't immediately available.

The facility was placed under lockdown and officials say felony charges will likely be filed.

The facility has had a string of problems. In November 2011, a 19-year-old inmate died after an attack by another inmate. Five teens escaped from the facility in October, stole a car and led police on a chase. The director resigned in November.
