With Wednesday's long legislative day known as Crossover Day now past, state lawmakers roll-up their sleeves for the final 10 working days of the 40-day General Assembly.

Bills making it through for further consideration and debate this session include Sunday alcohol sales, expanding gun rights, and immigration. Already passed--and signed--is Governor Nathan Deal's revamp of the HOPE scholarship program.

And lawmakers must of course settle the next fiscal year's budget.

GPB's Edgar Treiguts talks to Tom Crawford, editor of the Georgia Report, about what's transpired so far, and what to expect the last 10 days.
