In Class 5A, Norcross lost their first game of the season and was replaced by Hillgrove at the top. The Lady Blue Devils defeated defending Alabama 6A state champion Hoover in an interesting matchup of the two states' reigning state champs. But Norcross fell on Tuesday to North Gwinnett, which caused their fall in the rankings this week. The Lady Bulldogs entered the rankings at No. 10 this week.

In Class 4A, Chattahoochee and Clarke Central each entered the rankings at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively. In Class 3A, Peach County debuted at No. 10 in the list while, in Class 2A, GAC arrived at No. 10. In the state's smallest classification, Taylor County jumped up to No. 3 while St. Francis dropped to No. 5.
