After the final weekend of regular season play, several changes were made in the state rankings. Last weekend, many teams played region play-ins, or games in which region titles and playoff spots were decided. Consequently, there have been quite a few changes in the rankings. Here are some of them:

Brookwood has won its way to No. 3 in the Class 5A rankings. Since a week 3 loss to Dacula, the Broncos have won their last seven and hold the top seed in hotly-contested Region 8. Meanwhile, Stephenson dropped to No. 9 after an upset loss to region foe M.L. King, which then moved ahead of the Jaguars to No. 8.

In Class 4A, Griffin and Flowery Branch both lost, but stayed in the top 10. The Bears fell to No. 10 while the Falcons fell to No. 8. Chattahoochee rose to No. 5 and were followed by Starr's Mill and Lovejoy.

Gainesville moved up to No. 5 in Class 3A, and is followed by Ridgeland and Baldwin.

In Class 2A, Westminster fell to No. 7 after a loss to Buford while Jefferson County rose to No. 6.

And in the state's smallest classification, ELCA took over the No. 2 spot after their upset of Wesleyan. The Wolves, meanwhile, fell just one spot to No. 3. Charlton Co. fell to No. 10 after getting shellacked by No. 1 Clinch Co. Undefeated Johnson Co. rose to No. 5.
