The general election battle for the Georgia governor's office is set: Roy Barnes vs. Nathan Deal.

Tuesday's runoff election of the Republican candidates ended with Deal narrowly edging Karen Handel. Totals as of early Wednesday showed a difference of about 2,500 votes.

Handel Wednesday morning decided to concede the race, and not pursue a possible recount.

Now Deal moves on to face Democrat and former governor Roy Barnes in November.

GPB's Edgar Treiguts talks with Tom Crawford, editor of the Georgia Report, for his early analysis of the race.
