BP Station Owners Worried
Primary Content

BP is one of Georgia’s top brands. More than 11,000 gas stations sell their product across the state. But none of the stores are owned or operated by BP. That’s according to Jim Tudor of the Georgia Association of Convenience Stores. He says Georgians need to understand that stores with the BP logo are independent businesses.
"If you’re thinking that you are trying to make a statement with your gas purchases the person that’s selling you the gas is not in any way connected with the external events that we’re all familiar with," said Tudor.
So far there have been no organized protests of stores selling BP gas in Georgia.
