Feds Name Inspectors for Nuclear Expansion at Plant Vogtle

The federal government has chosen monitors for the expansion of Plant Vogtle near Augusta.
Justin Fuller and Coleman Abbott will be inspecting the first nuclear plant to break ground in about three decades.
The Southern Company requested permission in 2008 to build two new reactors at its existing plant.
It’s allowed to dig and do other preliminary work while federal regulators weigh the plan.
