Over the next few days here on GPB, you're going to be hearing a lot about water.

On Friday, the Governor's Water Contingency Task Force meets to issue recommendations on alternative sources to supply Atlanta drinking water.

That comes after a federal judge ruled the metro area was illegally withdrawing water from Lake Lanier.

WGPB’s John Sepulvado reports on several recommendations the task force is expected to make, and why some people outside of the Atlanta area oppose them.
