Army Sergeant Faces Murder Charges at Fort Stewart
Primary Content
An Army sergeant charged with killing two of his colleagues is due back in a Fort Stewart military courtroom today.
Sgt. Joseph Bozicevich, 39, is set to appear before a military judge on charges he murdered his superior and another U.S. soldier last September at a patrol base in Iraq.
Witnesses have said the soldiers were shot after they tried to cite Bozicevich for poor performance. His attorney says his client acted in self-defense.
Bozicevich could face the death penalty if convicted of the charges.
