Join GPB education for an exploratory overview of our comprehensive Visual Arts content including online courses, career resources, lesson plans, engaging videos, and instructional strategies that are available at no cost to all Georgia students and teachers through PBS LearningMedia.
Utilizing engaging activities from PBS LearningMedia, participants will become familiar with collections from PBS hit shows that allow students to build their design and iteration skills while investigating and solving problems in engineering and aerospace. All of these resources are bookended with digitally integrated instructional strategies.
Utilizing PBS LearningMedia Georgia Public Broadcasting provides educators with access to free educational platforms that host active and engaging programs, lessons, and media to get kids moving and considering their health and wellness. Participants will become familiar with our partner platforms and how to easily locate and implement activities that boost students’ physical activity as well as awareness about their health.
By coordinating with families, relying on routines, keeping things simple, focusing on formative assessments, and adapting hands-on labs, teachers can approach distance learning in a way that engages and inspires students in science without overwhelming them or their caregivers. Join GPB Education as we explore our many free online resources that support these five flexible strategies for stimulating science learning in a virtual and/or hybrid environment.
Join GPB Education as we explore the updated and expanded relaunch of our free comprehensive Georgia Studies collection, including the interactive course and nearly 40 immersive virtual field trips to historical and cultural sites throughout the state. These upgraded resources allow educators to link students directly to specific pages and elements, favorite content, interface with annotation and accessibility extensions, share to Google Classroom, and more!

GPB is traveling all over Georgia to bring our state's rich history and culture to teachers and students. Our 34 virtual learning field trips align with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) for social studies, as well as the content from GPB’s Georgia Studies digital textbook and Georgia Race Through Time game. You can also access the iPad version by downloading the free GPB Education app on iTunes. Each field trip brings locations to life with interviews, 360-degree panoramic photography, interactive elements, videos, user guide, and 5E lesson plans!
Join GPB Education on a STEM journey into and out of this world with our triple threat PBS partners NASA, NOVA, and Nature. Utilizing resources from these three digital educational series, participants will explore how to connect their students to compelling, real-world STEAM stories through free videos, interactive tools, and lesson planning resources. The NOVA, Nature, and NASA collections on PBS LearningMedia contain more than 1500 resources that educators can use to spark and enrich student knowledge through STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) education.
