Your Fantastic Mind - Georgia's Opioid Crisis

Your Fantastic Mind returns with all new episodes on Wednesday, September 9 at 7 p.m. Presented by GPB and the Emory Brain Health Center and hosted by veteran journalist Jaye Watson, Your Fantastic Mind explores the science of brain health, covering innovative research and clinical advances in the areas of neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, sleep medicine and rehabilitation medicine.

The new season will cover topics including the science of stress and memory, the inner workings of our dogs' brains, the COVID-19 pandemic, and much more. On September 28, we'll take an in-depth look at the human toll of opioid addiction in Georgia.

Do you have questions about how to recognize if your loved one, family member, or friend has a problem? Don’t know how to get help or what new treatments are out there? If you have any questions about opioids, Your Fantastic Mind can help.

Submit your questions in an email or record a video/audio clip of 30 seconds or less and send it to OPIOID@GPB.ORG by Monday, September 14, where they may be shared with a panel of medical addiction experts during the show.
