Faith Jackson

Amy found Faith Jackson from a link on a country music website. We did some digging and Faith kept showing up everywhere. We thought we gotta check this girl out. After a good listen (Wow!) we got her on the phone. She was kind, gracious and ready to go. We were definitely excited to head to Leesburg.

We left Atlanta on a Saturday morning and headed south of the “gnat line” (yep, it’s a thing). Turns out there’s not much in Leesburg, Georgia. But we already knew that, so Faith had arranged for our interviews and small performance to happen at an animal park in Albany.

Well, they wanted to charge us a fee for filming there, so we went to plan B, Radium Springs Park. We had shot there before and knew it would be beautiful. We were not disappointed.

Remember the ‘gnat line’? Well the gnats were out and open for business! It was hot, stagnant, gnatty and sweaty. But Faith was a true professional. After a short performance and a fantastic interview, it was time to catch our breath before that night’s show.

Doo-Dah’s Bar & Grill was true honky-tonk, biker bar. It was rough around the edges but the people were great. Faith’s band was set up on the covered deck (just a roof) with a beautiful lake view behind them. This made for a great camera shot. Until ……oh hail!

The sky opened up with all its fury! The wind, rain, lighting and thunder were the worst we’d seen in a long time. And we were basically out in it. Drop the side-wall tarps, lose the lake view, try to dry everything off and start playing. The show must go on!

Faith was as graceful as ever. This was definitely a strong woman with an incredible voice.

Please enjoy Faith Jackson.
