Lyla and Stu are introduced with their specialties, things they are working on, and favorite things

The new PBS KIDS animated series "Lyla in the Loop" follows Lyla, a dynamic 7-year-old girl who lives in a big city with her close-knit family, her fantastical blue sidekick Stu, and a host of relatable and quirky characters in her community. Lyla loves to collaborate with Stu, her mom Lydia, her dad Louis, her older twin sisters Liana and Louisa (12), and her little brother Luke (5) to solve everyday mishaps, messes, and mix-ups.

Lyla relies on creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to design and test her inventions and build imaginative contraptions (which lead to clever solutions and comedic disasters).

In every adventure, Lyla teams up with family and friends to help others in her community while introducing the audience to foundational computational thinking concepts. The series supports a wide range of learners, modeling creative expression and flexible step-by-step approaches to problem-solving. It will debut in both English and Spanish.

Watch "Lyla in the Loop" starting February 5th on GPB and PBS KIDS.
