Looking for an out-of-this-world experience this summer?

On Tuesday, July 16th at 9 AM ET, join GPB Education and the Museum of Aviation as we celebrate the summer of space with a special rocket launch live exploration in Warner Robins, GA. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon, Rocket Launch Live will showcase the wonders of space exploration!

During this live stream-only program, viewers will get an inside look at the nation’s second largest aviation museum and hear from NASA educators, museum curators, and aviation experts, including someone who was a part of the Apollo 11 Mission Control team. As a part of the Global Rocket Launch, kids from middle Georgia will join in on the celebration as they launch stomp rockets at 9:32 AM ET, the exact moment Apollo 11 lifted off fifty years earlier. Use #GPBToTheMoon to participate in the conversation.
