PBS KIDS, the number one educational media brand for kids, has released a new music album entitled PBS KIDS ROCKS!.

This dynamic album consists of 28 songs from Grammy award-winning artists that include Old Crow Medicine Show, Ozomatli, Los Lobos, and more!  Parent’s Choice Gold Award-winner SteveSongs, better known as Mr. Steve on PBS KIDS, has contributed music to the album as well. Not only are bilingual tunes present on the album, the songs cover a variety of educational topics ranging from literacy and STEM, to social-emotional learning.

“Research shows that music enhances children’s comprehension and fosters learning in an engaging way,” said Lesli Rotenberg, General Manager, Children’s Media, PBS. “PBS KIDS ROCKS! offers a fun and educational way to extend learning. Through catchy tunes and memorable lyrics, kids can explore a variety of topics – from gravity to vowels to taking turns – anywhere and anytime.”

These songs will also air on PBS KIDS as music videos with clips from many of your child’s favorite shows like Peg + Cat, Dinosaur Train and Curious George. These videos will be available on PBSKIDS.org, the PBS KIDS Video App and the PBS KIDS YouTube Channel.
