McEachern quarterback Trent Thompson will remember this game for the rest of his life. With less than two minutes left against North Gwinnett in the Kell Classic, Thompson led the Indians on a 75-yard drive which ended with a 4-yard touchdown run by Chris Nwagbara to take a 20-17 lead with 10 seconds remaining.

For the second year in a row, it will be county against county in the Metro PCS Corky Kell Classic. In fact, the same eight power programs from last year’s Classic will take part in this year’s event as well

North Gwinnett and McEachern both lost in the second round of the playoffs last year and are eager to get back on the field in this year’s Corky Kell Classic.
