Vice President of Radio



Tanya Ott is Vice President of Radio. Prior to joining GPB, Tanya spent 24 years as an award-winning journalist and news manager at public radio stations in Florida, Colorado, and Alabama. She reported extensively for national and international news organizations including NPR, Marketplace, the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Deutsche Welle, the Osgood File, Voice of America, AARP Radio, and others. Tanya has trained journalists and radio programmers at more than 120 public media stations and was a broadcast faculty member at the University of Florida and adjunct instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
