Rickey comes to you every weeknight from 4 - 6:30 PM on GPB Radio delivering the latest Georgia news during All Things Considered. You can also see her on GPB-TV's award-winning Georgia Traveler, where co-host Rickey will be visiting Civil War sites throughout the state. Rickey's work has been featured on National Public Radio, the PBS NewsHour, and The Takeaway. During her tenure as Host/Executive Producer of GPB Radio's Georgia Gazette, the program was recognized with a national Public Radio News Directors International award. In 2008, the Atlanta Press Club nominated Rickey for Journalist of the Year. She has won numerous journalism awards, including a GABBY award for her coverage of Georgia music. Rickey received an Emmy nomination for her work on a biography of Flannery O'Connor. Rickey attended the Putney School in Vermont, Barnard College in New York City. Before joining GPB, Rickey worked at Showtime Networks, WFSB-TV (CBS) and WNPR Connecticut Public Radio in Hartford.
