"A Seat at the Table" Holds Court with the Atlanta Dream

The ladies of GPB’s Emmy-nominated original series A Seat at the Table are “holding court” with the Atlanta Dream!

Join two of our hosts, Denene Millner and Christine White, this Saturday, August 11 at 2 p.m., at Atlanta’s McCamish Pavilion as they cheer on the WNBA home Dream team in a game against the Dallas Wings. Fans will have a chance to meet Denene and Christine during half time.

A Seat at the Table is the first public media talk show that gives voice to African-American women from their diverse experiences, perspectives, and challenges. Some would argue that ALL women have similar experiences, but there are realities to the black woman’s daily life that is entirely her own. A Seat at the Table breaks through the silence and gives African-American women a voice; a loud and clear voice. For more information about the program, visit www.gpb.org/asatt.

The Atlanta Dream plays its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs eight times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.

Atlanta Dream season, group tickets and single game tickets are available now. For more information on how to get tickets for this Saturday’s game, visit atlantadream.net or call 877.977.7729.
