A Georgia death row inmate scheduled to die later this month now has a clemency hearing.

The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles set a Nov. 18 hearing for Marcus Ray Johnson. He’s scheduled to be executed Nov. 19. Johnson was convicted in the March 1994 rape and murder of Angela Sizemore.

Prosecutors say Johnson met Sizemore at a club and that the two were spotted kissing and drinking heavily. They were seen leaving together and Sizemore's body was found the next day. Prosecutors say eyewitnesses placed Johnson near where her body was found.

Defense attorneys have argued there are inconsistencies in the evidence presented at Johnson's trial that raise doubts about his guilt.
