Middle Georgians say they want safer streets. We are talking about it on Macon&Eggs. See the video below:

HOT TOPIC #1:
This week a student was struck by a car in front of Warner Robins High School. Sunday night a man was killed after being hit by a SUV. He had stepped into the road to care for his dog who had been hit by another car. The driver sped away and didn’t stop. Our Middle GA area is one of the most dangerous places in America for people on foot.

HOT TOPIC #2:
This week Warner Robins hosted a gang violence prevention and awareness forum.

Drive-by shootings in Milledgeville and areas of surrounding Baldwin County are very concerning to officials there. At least 14 dive-by shootings have been reported since mid-July, authorities say. Milledgeville has fewer than 20,000 residents.

And in Macon, the FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a nightclub shooting that left three men dead.

Is the gang problem getting worse?
