It's time to celebrate dogs in Perry, drink beer for a good cause in Macon and celebrate hometown pride in Milledgeville! There is always something fun to do in the Middle Georgia area and local musician Betsy Fitzgerald along with Jackie K. Cooper, film critic for the Huffington Post, stopped by GPB to share some ideas. Listen to the conversation above.

Flea Market Summer Sale
I have made some great finds in the past years at Historic Macon’s various flea markets. You just never know what great items you will find, often at a great bargain. This “summer flash sale” will feature outdoor furniture, camping gear, gardening gadgets and more. This big sale, which offers even more fabulous things, will be October 3, with a preview early-sale party on October 2. Proceeds support Historic Macon.
