Billionaire Donald Trump was front and center at this weekend's RedState Gathering in Atlanta...even though he wasn't there.

Trump was dropped from the gathering of Republican presidential candidates, over controversial remarks he made about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Trump said Kelly had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever" during the first GOP debate, when she asked him about derogatory remarks he made about women.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush called Trump's comments outrageous, and say they hurt the Republican brand. "Megyn Kelly is a top notch journalist. And the fact that she asked the guy tough questions...I mean, if you're running for President of the United States and you think this is tough, try dealing with Putin for crying out loud," Bush said in an interview with GPB's Bill Nigut.

Two polls released last week showed Trump with a lead among GOP voters in Georgia. Bush came in in second place in both surveys.
