Blue Cross Blue Shield Georgia

A months long dispute between Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital and BlueCross BlueShield of Georgia is over.

A contract between the two expired in November. The hospital claimed BlueCross was paying it as much as 70 percent less compared to other hospitals. Grady launched an aggressive PR and advertising campaign to put pressure on the insurance giant.

Georgia Health News reports that they’ve reached a new agreement. Starting April 1, Grady will once again be “in network” for BlueCross customers.
