Little Free Library/Jon Waits

Fans of Savannah native Flannery O’Connor are hoping to bring attention to the author’s life and work with a trail of “little free libraries.” It will stretch from her birthplace in Savannah to her childhood home in Milledgeville. GPB Savannah's Emily Jones spoke with project’s organizer Francis Allen and artistic director Coco Papy about what O’Connor has meant to them.

You can read more about the trail in this week’s Connect Savannah - on newsstands today and online at connectsavannah.com. The first library opened this month on Gwinnett Street near East Broad in Savannah.
