Fulton County elections officials say they're working to resolve voter roll discrepancies ahead of local elections.

At least four cities have reported that voters are listed in the wrong district, the wrong city or are not listed on voter rolls at all.

Registrations and Elections Director Rick Barron told the newspaper his staff is working to ensure voter rolls are accurate, and he hopes to resolve the issue within two weeks.

Barron was named to head the department in May while the Georgia Secretary of State's office probed management issues that led to problems during elections in 2012.

Hundreds of Fulton County voters cast ballots in the wrong districts, and the county used more paper ballots than the rest of the state combined.
