A Mitsubishi Electric cooling and heating plant that recently opened in metro Atlanta is expected to create more than 100 new jobs over the next three years.

The company's Suwanee location includes engineering and training centers along with warehouse space. The plant is expected to create engineering and warehouse jobs.

In a statement, Gov. Nathan Deal says the company found Gwinnett County a strategically advantageous location for its growth.
