The recently announced mergers of American Airlines with U.S. Airways and Office Depot with OfficeMax means lots of employees face lots of uncertainty in the coming months. American Airlines and U.S. Airways announced Feb. 13 they plan to merge. Office Max and Office Depot announced similar plans Wednesday.

Those deals means thousands of employees are about to be working for a new company.

Of course, companies acquire other companies all the time. So we brought in our Working guy Brandon Smith to talk about going through this transition.
