A California-based telecommunications company has announced plans to expand its campus in metro Atlanta and create 275 new jobs over the next 10 years.

ViaSat recently broke ground on a 60,000 square-foot addition to its campus in Duluth.

The company produces satellite and network communications systems and the Duluth location is the company's second largest facility.

State economic development officials say the company is eligible for up to $6.1 million in quality job tax credits.
