Georgia wildlife officials are seeking public comment on the state's hunting rules.

The Department of Natural Resources will hold a meeting Tuesday at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center in Cumming. The public is invited to comment.

It's one of eight sessions being held across Georgia on hunting regulators for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 hunting seasons.

Wildlife officials John Bowers call the meeting the first step in a two-year process.

Proposed hunting rules will be publicly available in April, then considered by the Board of Natural Resources in May 2013.
