Georgia officials are kicking off a five-month fishing tournament.

The Department of Natural Resources announced Tuesday that the "Bobberthon Express" tournament will run through Oct. 1.

Anglers get five months to catch tagged bream in any four of the designated fishing areas and turn in those fish for a prize.

The fishing areas include the Dodge County, Ocmulgee, Hugh Gillis and Flat Creek lakes. The tags on the fish are colored and marked "Bobberthon."
