Prep Football Playoffs Still Unclear

It’s a big weekend for high school football teams. For most, the season ends Friday with no hope of a spot in the playoffs.

But a chunk of the playoff picture will be decided in the final week of games. In nearly half of the state’s regions, the champion will emerge after Friday’s games. And for several other regions, teams’ seeding in the playoffs (and therefore, who they must beat to win a championship) will be decided.

GPB Sports Host Jon Nelson looks ahead to the playoffs and talks about what he thinks has been the story of this season.
