The Bulldogs currently are 20-8-1 and third in the region with a game against first place Mill Creek on Thursday. … After a 4-2 showing at the Brookwood Invitational, Greater Atlanta Christian will begin play in its region tournament on Wednesday. Heading into the tournament, Sierra Lawrence leads the team with a staggering .620 batting average, 11 home runs, 31 RBIs and 37 stolen bases. Pitcher Natalie deLatour is 11-3 with a 1.10 ERA heading into the tournament. … The Region 8-AAAAA regular season title was on the line Tuesday night when Archer and Brookwood put their undefeated region records on the line. Broncos’ sophomore Taiylor Rinehart went 1-for-2 but hit a game tying single in the first that scored Megan Litumbe and Mandy Blackwell, who scored two runs on the night.
