The University of Georgia raised more than $125 million during the fiscal year that ended June 30.

UGA administrators say it's the sixth year in a row the university has topped $100 million in private gifts. UGA's annual giving campaign raised $11.6 million, a 13 percent increase over last fiscal year.

The UGA Athletic Association raised $30 million, most of which came from ticket sales.

Other big numbers include $9.2 million to the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and $8.9 million to the Terry College of Business.

Officials say the donations are typically spent on helping attract top faculty, providing scholarships to students and beefing up academic programs.
