More than 75 Georgia baseball players were selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft this week.

Though Georgia Tech’s Jed Bradley was picked 15th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers, he’s the state’s only first-round selection.

The Braves took Florida State pitcher Sean Gilmartin 28th overall.

No Georgia high school players were drafted in the first round for the first time since 2006.

More than 1,500 high school and college athletes were drafted over 50 rounds.
